The Licensed Trade Charity was founded in 1793 by a group of publicans to support people working in the licensed trade and provide education to their children.

The Charity supports thousands of people each year facing crisis and building resilience with practical advice, wellbeing support, financial grants and guidance.

LTC has been educating children of licensed trade families for over 220 years and continue to offer an outstanding independent education to the children of those working in the licensed hospitality sector.

Today the LTC also offers education for all, in addition to those connected to the licensed hospitality sector at its three schools:

  • LVS Oxford and LVS Hassocks, specialist day schools for young people with a diagnosis of Autism
  • LVS Ascot, a mainstream, day and boarding school for boys and girls aged 4-18 years
